Please take time to study these photos and notice the characteristics of each animal. Notice the shape of their front shoulders and head compared to the younger deer. Notice the back hams are narrow along with their skinny necks and narrow chest.

ok, the rack would tell you yes. The neck is pretty skinny? Look at the shoulders and back hams. Nice and broad. He would easily be 3.5 years old.

This one could be tough. his rack only goes to the tip of the ears and his face looks a little skinny. Good shoulders though. He's a good 3.5 or better

He has a decent rack but look at his back hams narrow. Along with a skinny neck. Not a shooter only 2.5
Even though he is in summer coat and looks to have a nice rack. See how skinny his neck is. I actually could have taken this buck but passed. 2.5 for sure.
