We are true bowhunters, Our hunts are as good as you will find in Ohio. With shot opportunities at a very high percentage. We are true to our word and encourage the checking of references. We hear horror stories of getting burned by other outfitters every day and strive to make our clients a 100% satisfied before and after their hunts. We run a small operation to keep your chances at one of our big bucks very probable. Our deer get as big as any in the country and you don't half to draw a tag for an opportunity at one.
Hunts: We specialize in bow hunting for deer and spring turkeys. All hunts are conducted on private land managed for superior animals. We have been running 70 % shot opportunity on 125" plus bucks the whole month of November depending on the conditions. We do have a 125" 3.5 year old minimum on our bucks with a fine if one should be taken smaller. ( see our news page for details ) This is not a high fence operation ! We are just good at what we do. We only take a limited amount of clients per week and keep our areas un hunted until the rut. .
As of 2007 I have put in a new wrinkle to my hunts. I now am sitting with my clients while out hunting and video taping their hunts at their request. This gives a much more one on one feel to my hunts and may capture that hunt of a lifetime on video for you to show to your buddies and enjoy for years to come.
All Ohio tags are purchased over the counter and are very reasonably priced.
Our hunts are conducted out of roomy hang on tree stands set with 20" climbing stix . All stands will be safe climbing in and out of. All hunters will be required to arrive a half day early to go over rules and be shown trail heads to stands for their first days hunts. Trail heads are very well marked so as there will be no confusion walking to and from stands. Most hunts will typically be back in the timber in the mornings and over Tecomate, Biologic and Buck forage food plots in the evenings. Most clients will have chances at does if they want meat for the freezer. We encourage the taking of does.
Location: We are located in south eastern Ohio in Hocking , Perry and licking counties. The terrain varies from rolling hills with crops on them to the big woods. Civilization is never far away there's always a Wal-Mart within reach along with plenty of restaurants.
Lodging: Is not included in any pricing but we will arrange all accommodations for you. visit our lodging page for lodging info. The cabins that around our locations are very nice with hot tubs and ect;.
We use Cuddeback and Reconx digital cameras for year long scouting and frequently send pics to our clients as we receive them. This helps our clients get excited for there up coming hunts
Payments: All Clients are required to pay a 50% non refundable deposit at the time of booking. We accept checks, money orders or credit cards. If paying by credit card there will be a sur charge of $20.00 per transaction. All balances will be due by sept 1St.
If for some reason a hunt should half to be canceled. All clients may roll their deposits over for a future hunt at no extra charge.
